    The Liberty Enlightening Tour, offers you the chance to cruise by the Statue of Liberty. This provides you with the ideal moment to capture the perfect moments with Lady Liberty; however, please note that the cruise does not include a stop on the island.

    The Freedom Liberty Tour picks you up at Pier 78, 455 12th Ave, New York, NY 10018.

    Yes. You are allowed to bring your own food and drink on the boat.

    About Our Boat

    Franklin D Roosevelt

    The Franklin D. Roosevelt (the FDR), built in 2020, is a 500-passenger catamaran operated by NY Waterway, a company with over 30 years of experience! This ferry includes state-of-the-art marine electronics to ensure the safest ride on the Hudson. This spacious vessel is 109 ft long and 32 ft wide and will ensure a comfortable ride with seating for 200 passengers on its expansive open roof deck and 300 passengers on its Art Deco-inspired lower deck. The lower deck includes large windows that can be opened, concessions, and a bar for an optimal sightseeing experience and NYC harbor cruise.

    The FDR is a ferry built to ensure that our impact on the environment is minimized. Operating using the cleanest burning marine engine available in America, the FDR’s Twin EPA Tier 3 Compliant engines will provide you with a quiet ride to reduce both carbon and noise emissions. The FDR’s hull is made of 99% aluminum, further increasing fuel efficiency. Enjoy your NYC views knowing that your choice to sail with Big City Tourism will be a comfortable and environmentally friendly choice!
